In a recent development, Mr. Kuldeep Dwivedi, a 2005-batch IPS officer from the Jharkhand cadre, has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He is presently serving as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
Meanwhile, a 1996-batch Senior IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre, Mr. Mukesh Singh, has been appointed as the Inspector General of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on deputation basis. This change in leadership reflects administrative decisions aimed at optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of these law enforcement agencies.
