Tripura: 9 IAS, IFS Officers Transferred

1989 batch IFS officer B S Mishra (TR) Principal Secretary, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Departments will hold the additional charge of Scheduled Castes Welfare Department.

Six IAS and three IFS officers have been transferred by the Tripura government.

Their names and postings are as follows:

  1. 2003 batch IAS officer Abhishek Chandra (Tripura cadre), Special Secretary with independent charges of Scheduled Castes Welfare and Industries & Commerce (including Handloom, Handicraft & Sericulture and excluding Information Technology) Departments will hold the charge of Planning (including Statistics) Department, independently, has been relieved from the charge of Scheduled Castes Welfare and Industries & Commerce (including Handloom, Handicraft & Sericulture and excluding Information Technology) Departments.
  2. 1989 batch IFS officer B S Mishra (TR) Principal Secretary, Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Departments will hold the additional charge of Scheduled Castes Welfare Department.
  3. 1990 batch IFS officer K S Sethi (TR), PCCF, Tripura & Principal Secretary, Forests and Sciencem Technology & Environment Departments has been given additional charge of Industries & Commerce (including Handloom, Handicraft & Sericulture and excluding Information Technology) Department.
  4. 2009 batch IFS officer S Prabhu (TR) has been posted as Director of Tribal Welfare after repatriation from Inter-cadre deputation.
  5. 2008 batch IAS officer L T Darlong (TR), Secretary, Tribal Welfare (Including TRP & PTG) Department with additional charge of Director of Tribal Welfare is relieved from the additional charge of Director of Tribal Welfare.
  6. A K Bhattacharya (IAS), Special Secretary, Revenue and GA(AR) Departments with additional charges of Director of Relief Rehabilitation & Disaster Management; Director of Civil Defence and Director of Fire & Emergency Services, has been given additional charges of Revenue (Relief Rehabilitation & Disaster Management) and Home (Fire & Emergency Services) Departments, independently.
  7. 1998 batch IAS officer Puneet Agarwal (TR), Principal Secretary, Revenue and Industries & Commerce (Information Technology) Departments is relieved from the charge of Revenue (Relief Rehabilitation & Disaster Management) Department.
  8. 2006 batch IAS officer Apurba Roy (TR), Secretary, Planning (including Statistics), Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Home (Fire & Emergency Services) and General Administration (Personnel & Training) Departments with additional charge of State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities is relieved from the charge of planning (including Statistics) and Home (Fire & Emergency Services) Departments.
  9. 2006 batch IAS officer Pradeep Kr Chakravarty (TR), Secretary, ICA; Education (YAS); Secretary, Tripura Human Rights Commission; Secretary, GA (C&C) and Secretary to CM, has been relieved of the charge of Secretary, Tripura Human Rights Commission
