IAS Mayur Ratilal Govekar Appointed as Deputy Secretary at the MoRTH

Mr. Mayur Ratilal Govekar, an IAS officer, has assumed the role of Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). His appointment comes under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) and is effective for a duration of four years, commencing from the date of assuming office or until further directives, as per an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on Tuesday.

Before this appointment, Mr. Govekar was serving as the District Magistrate & Collector in the Gomati District within his home cadre. The order has called for his immediate release from his current duties, accompanied by instructions to assume his new responsibilities within the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways.
