Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple infrastructure development projects worth a total of over Rs 30,000 crore in Telangana and Rajasthan. After offering prayers at the Bhadrakali temple, the Prime Minister addressed a public gathering in Warangal, where he highlighted the positive impact of the projects launched by the central government on the state's industry, tourism, and employment opportunities for the youth.
PM Modi emphasized that Telangana is transforming into a hub connecting various neighboring economic corridors, attracting investments from around the world.
During the public meeting, Prime Minister Modi underlined the significance of the projects inaugurated on Saturday. Prakash Reddy, spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), revealed that over 3,000 individuals will be employed as a direct result of these initiatives. Additionally, the projects are expected to foster industrial growth in Warangal, further boosting the region's economic development.
Telangana to Become a Hub for Economic Corridors, Says PM Modi
Following his visit to Telangana, Prime Minister Modi proceeded to Bikaner in Rajasthan, where he dedicated and laid the foundation stone for development projects amounting to over Rs 24,300 crore.
According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the event in Bikaner witnessed the Prime Minister inaugurating a six-lane greenfield expressway section of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor and the first phase of the Inter-State Transmission Line for the Green Energy Corridor. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Bikaner Railway Station.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a four-state tour, covering Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan. Apart from Uttar Pradesh, all these states are scheduled to hold elections later this year. The Prime Minister's visit aims to bolster development and infrastructure in these regions while addressing the needs of the local population.
